This year give your children Disney Italian charms!

All kids love Disney characters!  Tinkerbell and Peter Pan, Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse, Beauty and the Beast, Ariel and Prince Eric…the list goes on and on!  This year for their birthday gifts, make them Disney Italian charms.  What a neat gift they can wear all the time and show off to their friends.  Guaranteed that none of their other friends will be sporting Disney Italian charms, your kids will be the first on the block to create a new trend among their friends!  Just like when they were small, your kids will think you are the coolest ever!  You’ll be their hero all over again!Almost everyone alive today can think back to when they were a child and recall some memory involving Disney, Disney characters, or even a specific memory dealing with their family and a Disney movie.  Before Miramax entertainment came along, Disney was all about family…and Walt made sure he personally saw to it that every scene was family friendly.  Displaying Disney Italian charms back then would have been something any parent would have been proud to have their child wear.  Today it is unfortunate that this is not the case.

Disney Italian charms are still worn by children all over the world, as the internet is still where to buy Disney Italian charms.  The pride in knowing that as long as it’s Disney, whatever your children are watching is family oriented and safe for their eyes and ears.  It all began with Pixar’s computer animated movie “Ants”.  Reading the back of the box, I discovered that the movie was about an ant “coming of age” and learning what hard work was about.  Fighting to be respected albeit his small stature, the movie sounded like a life lesson we all must learn…so I bought it.  The movie never hit the big screen until after its VHS release, backwards marketing if you ask me, and the illustrated cover of the VHS packaging could have been mistaken for a Disney movie by anyone.  Pixar’s name was on the box, but placed in very small font and in an inconspicuous place.  Placing my three youngest children in front of the television, I listened to the movie from the kitchen while preparing a meal.  I was astounded when I heard a “cuss” word come out of one of the character’s mouths!  I immediately took the movie out of the VCR and broke the tpae, finally dispensing it in the trash!

I took one hard look at the box and discovered my error.  There hasn’t been money from our household spent supporting anything that Pixar has had to do with since…and that was ten years ago!  Walt would roll over in his grave if he knew was Miramax has done with his company!  Disney Italian charms still reflect the animated characters that grace the big screen today, however, their actions and manner of speaking have changed drastically.  In the movie Shrek, the characters are likeable enough and can be found on Disney Italian charms, but their language, their rude manner in which they deal with one another is repulsive.

This all may seem a little “old fashioned” if you will, but these are the children that will make the movies of the future.  Do we want to encourage violence, rudeness and ill-mannered behavior as not only acceptable, but the norm?  I won’t even begin on today’s version of the electronic video game, but if I did, I’d start out by saying “none of that stuff will get past my threshold!”
